Welcome to the Lewisham Music Service website!

Lewisham Music Service is the largest provider of music-making opportunities for young people in the borough. We reach around 4,000 young people each week through the instrumental and vocal lessons we provide for most of the borough’s schools as well as through a wide range of lessons and ensembles in our after school and Saturday music centres.

From ukulele to euphonium, from trombone to tabla, from steel pan to saxophone, and in choirs and bands of all shapes and sizes, children and young people can explore a world of music in all corners of the borough.

Our partnerships with organisations such as the Barbican and South Bank Centres, Lewisham Arts Service, London Symphony Orchestra, the London Gateway Boroughs and Trinity College of Music enrich our work enormously through exciting projects and performances in Lewisham and beyond.
